It has always been a well used spot to others, so I was merely ticking off another classic location of the Settle and Carlisle line. The walk even brought me under the line itself, passing underneath the Armathwaite Viaduct before turning to walk parallel with it up the hill then beyond to a field of sheep....and a road of photographers.
